How Many people have a 6spd Altima Coupe

I actually had to order one b/c it was sooo hard to find one in a 3.5SE with 6spd and in Azure blue. I've checked the inventories of the dealerships in my area since I ordered it and the 6spd is sooo rare. Good luck hunting.

Nissan isn't releasing many 3.5S with 6 speed. They are pushing the CVT so hard they want people to use that. Almost everyone has to order one.

In Ottawa, Canada, the 1st cars to arrive were all 6 speeds. They received Black and Grey ones and they got about 4 to 5 of them. They only received 1 CVT in the 1st shipment. The Blue seems to be a rare colour.

I test drove a 2.5 6spd today, the first time I'd actually sat in a coupe. It's a REALLY nice car and I'm pretty sure I'll be purchasing one as soon as I can, a 3.5SE that is. My biggest debate right now is whether to go with a 6spd or a CVT. I have not driven a CVT yet. Those of you with a 6spd, did/do you find the amount of travel required to shift through the gears excessive?? Short-throw shifter it aint; I felt like the stick travelled a good 12+ inches between 2nd and 3rd gear. Any ideas if there will be a short-throw kit out soon????

I had to order the 6spd too because everyone only had the crappy CVT. automatic is soo boring and it makes me feel like an idiot when I drive lol

i DID NOT want a CVT so i got a CVT lol and i'm VERY happy i did do so, #1 driving a stick just got annoying espically in traffic, and the CVT shifts easier and faster than the 6spd pretty much from a rolling start it is a faster car all other things equal hope this helps and BTW there is no shift shock when clicking thru gears in CVT

Do any of you CVT guys plan on doing any performance mods? If so, aren't you worried about belts burning up and such?

^^^ warranty baby lol , i truly only plan on nismo intake and exhaust, not going for much more this car is too new for me to void the warranty on it already lol
