Yeah pretty much, you can make those rings say anything. Maybe the dealership he worked at had them made or nissan at one point in time. My dad actually has one of those. He's a Nissan Master Tech. He's been certified for like 30 or 35 years and with Nissan for 10-15. They sent him the ring, a plaque, and nice work jacket and a thousand bucks on a Visa gift card. He went on a shopping spree lol.
