how many pcv valve's for a j30

i went to auto zone for a new pcv valve they told me they did'nt have them in stock, but the computer say's the car need's two pcv valve's. so i went to advanced auto and bought two pcv valves. but my question is, are there two different kinds of pcv valves i should buy, or can i buy two of the same? because i bought two of the same pcv valve. also where is the pcv valve on the j30?

I looked on both autozone and advance web sites and they say only one. Have a look at this url. Long, may have to cut and paste.

this may be to late for you but hey better late then never i just replaced mine there are 2 of them you will find them under each side of the pendulem
