Actually no. I took the distributor off and tried to start it as suggested and it's not the timing chain.. I've tried most of the stuff people from G20.net suggested and the car just doesn't(didn't) want to start. It still sounds like it's not getting any compression. My buddy and I tinkered with it before I tore into yesterday and still nothing..

It's ashamed because the car was in nice shape, but I just didn't have money to spend making things right. My Q gets all the attention.. I may however be getting another g20. Want me to see if I can find you a winter beater from an auction or sale?

Well, keep an eye out for all of us northern-ers, but some new developments may have made it more appealing to put a timing belt on my friends Integra (not broken, just 124k and never changed).

I think lots of us would be interested in a 5sp G20 with good leather??

Good luck in your parting out.

I'll keep an eye out for a 5 speed with leather seats for you guys...

Make sure to check the waterpump too if it's got a timing belt and 124k.

Like the Chryslers that have timing belts - ala the v6 Cirrus - the waterpumps tend to go around 100k - 125k.

I'll do that. It'll be March before I do anything, and I gotta get some additional details, but it could be an interesting change of events .
