How many ohms of resistance for ground?

The faq mentions 2 ohms max. I read 6 ohms just in the wire going from neg battery terminal to engine block(probes in the copper at both ends). The reading goes up to 13 ohms if i put the multimeter probe on neg battery terminal and engine block.

also, is it ok to adjust adle using tach in dash or do you need to use handheld tach.

clean all the corrosion off any of them. make sure your meeter isnt measuring resistance of oxodized areas, those will be significantly higher.

I did the readings again in the same way i did first time and i got .6 etc which is continuity because my meter is digital. For some reason my meter put the decimal in the wrong place.
