Have any pics of it installed? What hotpipe did you go with? I'm thinking of getting the hotpipe from HT or Enjunku with the HKS flange.

I think about 102934815609286344908125 people went with the greddy v-spl (including me). Mostly because its the cheapest and still overkill for 98% of the SR's out there.

I have one too. Love it especially for the price. Not polished but still looks super nice. Works, as far as I'm concerned, as well as any other IC (and I have driven other SR powered 240's). As far as my hotpipe and bov, I went with the HKS SSQV w/ HKS pipe (comes as a kit). Nice piece and perfect fitment. BOV draws a lot of attention, but if you want a different sound, just get the purple insert. The insert is about $15. Good luck. If you want pics, let me know.

What did some of you do about using a hotpipe with a BOV on it? Did you weld the extention on the lower pipe off? Or cap it somehow?

I plan to get the hotpipe and HKS, so before I order it I need to figure out whats the best way to go about this. I'd rather not weld it incase I sell it in the future.

Chicagos13, yes post pics of your setup.

I went with the V-SPL.

Welding the fitting wouldn't be the best idea since it is aluminum. I went to Pep Boys and got a rubber plug to cap it off. It rubber thing with a bolt/nut through it so as you tighten it, it expands.

Other than that, Heavy Throttle, Enjuku, and most other companies that sell SR's should have hotpipes with BOV Flanges already on them. My Heavythrottle pipe is great.

Here's a pic of my VSPL...

I mounted my BOV on the coldpipe so I could have a tougher time recirculating it...

Thanks for the compliments (especially BomexS13; I am in love w/ your ride). Anyways, as far as plugging up the bov hole, the Greddy kit comes with the caps and clamps. Thurough kit and great for the money. Would highly recommend. Oh, and the hotpipe is by HKS. It comes as a kit with the bov. You can probably order it through one of our vendors and if not, http://www.optauto.com .

I think I've looked everything over in my kit and it did not come with any kind of cap. Am I missing something? Anyone else get a cap?

My kit definately came with at least one cap for the bov hole, and I can't remember if it came with a second one for the intake recirc hole. Definatley at least one for sure. You might be able to find something at a hardware store. Looks like a one inch cap; I'll try to snap a pic.
