Speak to me fellow Cheese Head...you can click on my profile and PM me. Want to hear about the AWD in our winters...last two were nasty. I've owned a couple Subaru's...coming out of a Tribeca and the AWD is a lifesaver when we get our storms. Loved it but looked for more of a car ride with potentially better HWY mileage. It's a Company car and I do 40k a year with lots of HWY time.AWGD8 wrote:Nice to hear from fellow cHEESE HEAD! Are you getting one? Oh! congrats!
I've done my homework and read the threads here about the Intelligent AWD and have to go by my experience with my Subaru's that they do know what they are doing...awesome. But I don't go off roading and just want to be able to get home when on the road and a storm rolls in. I'm confident that while maybe not as ornery AWD as the Tribeca it will more than do the job.
It's nice to be able to travel then stop in a Blvd. that has been stacked up by the snow plows, and then get going again and not get hung up. We are able to get a storm now at anytime but would love to have a good old mild winter this year.
