Some people on here have over 100+K miles ...

My Versa will be 2 years old on April 2.I have almost 32,000 KMS (not miles). So far no problems. I had the Fuel Pressure Regulator changed and my sunroof fixed, other than that nothing major has gone wrong.

My first - 99k without problems (and another 6k since then as my son's car). My second - 23k without problems. My daughter's - 60k with the common fuel pump regulator problem repaired under warranty and no problems since then.

12,000 on my 09 V. Only prob has been a broken hubcap, which dealer replaced free. Also have a slight knock when warm, but that may or may not be a "problem".

Over 2 1/2 years, 32,000 miles and my Versa SL has been very dependable mechanically. The car was originally supplied with a defective battery that was replaced after two weeks and has a recurring problem with the weather stripping on the driver's side door that seems to be unique to just my car.

Rather than depending solely on threads at any forum, you will get a more accurate picture if you research all models as well as compare repair rates and issues at places like True Delta, Edmunds, J.D. Powers, etc.

April 2 will be 3 years and I have 62,000 KM on my car. I had my Nissan dealership replaced the front rotors as they were warped not long after I had got the car but that was replaced under warranty. Other than that the only problem I had was that my tail light bulb went which were replaced under warranty as well since it was under the 60,000 KM and that's it really. Hope it stays that way...

I'm at 19k in a year without any problems. Haven't done anything other than change the oil, rotate the tires, and add a bunch of toys to it.

Mines about a year and a half old and I have almost 40,000 miles. Had a problem with my fuel pump regulator cause it kept blowing the fuse. Was fixed under warranty and the tow cost was replaced and I got to drive a Altima Hybrid over the weekend while it was in the shop.

I reccomend a Versa!

I have 47,000 miles now and the only thing that it had to go to the dealer for was a popping steering wheel. Oh and now two of my centercaps have popped off the alloy wheels and I don't know why the hell it's done that. It's quite annoying but other than that, it's a good car that gets good gas mileage considering how big the car is. I can't really say there's any car you can buy that will never have any problems. Seems like the Toyota Yaris has only a few problems but it is smaller, less powerful, and more prone to road/wind noise.

I've owned mine for just over a year now, and it had 11k on it when I bought it, now it has almost 46k. No problems, but my last set of tires (Cooper CS4) wore out in 19k miles, tire place said its my car, yet nether them nor the dealer can find anything wrong with the alignment or anything, tires were replaced under warranty and I have a set of Yokohama Avid Touring S on there, not the best handling tires on the planet but they seem to be fairing better than my Coopers, so I think it was just a bad set of rubber. Other than that no problems. I've been in 3 wrecks with it and its still goes like nothing else I have ever owned. I'm planing on keeping it till it falls apart. My last car only lasted to 98k miles before the transmission went out (Ford Taurus). So I hope the Versa won't let me down.

You definitely either had defective tires or something's up with your alignment. I have the CS4 Touring H rated with 60k mile warranty as opposed to the T rated with the 80k. I've put about 15k miles so far on my CS4s and they still look like new!

Yeah i had the H, and there is nothing wrong with the alignment far as 2 different dealers an the tire shop can find. So it had to be bad tires, my sister has the same tires on her Aveo with 22k and they still look brand new. I now have almost 5k on these tires and no wear yet.

only 3k miles here, but so far so good. Some ridiculous crap that i figured was something along the lines of the factory working who put my car together showed up to work hung over. Clutch was slipping when i first got it after it warmed up due to the pedal being misadjusted. They fixed that without any hassle, then randomly the gas cap seal (what they told me the CEL came on for) decided it wasnt going to work anymore. hour at the dealer and all is well. I'm really happy with how this car is put together for being so inexpensive and so good on gas... and once my warranty runs out it looks easy as hell to work on. Highly recommended.

I've had my 2008 since November 2007.I had the steering joint assembly replaced in late '08 due to the "thunking" problem when turning. That was under warranty. I had to have the fuel pressure regulator replaced...but unfortunately that was out of warranty when that happened. Other than that my V has been great. Going on 50,000 miles and will be accelerating quickly as I now commute 100 miles a day.

Bought my 6 speed S hatch in November of 07 with 23K. Near 56K now with routine maintenence (oil & filter all me; 30K dealer interval), no mechanical issues whatsoever. Does exactly what I need it to do.

-Section of weatherstripping parting the passenger rear door.-Dash gremlin in cold weather w/ heat on singing intermittent rattle song.-Passenger airbag cover beginning to divorce the dash.

All of these seem to be common problems from what I've read elsewhere...and very minor ones at that in my eyes.

What a lot of people tend to neglect to take into consideration is that, not all brand new cars are awesome at first. Sure, they're supposed to be, but reality is that they're not. That's part of being "new."

If you get a lemon, unfortunately you might have some problems here and there. But, you could also get a diamond :D My car definitely isn't a lemon, I haven't had a single problem since I've had the car. Owned it for just under a year now and it has 18k on it :]
