Guys, I know driving styles and many other factors come in to play but am wondering whats about the average life expectancy on the stock brakes? I'm starting to get a little squeak every now and then but its been way to cold and nasty to take the wheel off to check my pads, i have about 56k miles on my versa and am thinking its probably about time for new pads? But how many miles have you guys gotten out of yours ? Thanks

On my first Versa I replaced them at about 90k miles, but I'm pretty easy on accelerating and braking. The current one, at about 53k, is showing no problems. (My daughter's on her original set, too, at about 70k.)

my Dads V hatch started sqeaking at around 62,500, I almost bought pads first, glad I didn't, took all the wheels off, the front pads had lots left, rear drums only needed cleaning out the brake dust, he should be fine for a while.
