Wondering if Q owners can add input to see just how rare these are getting. I know in my area ,mine is becoming a unicorn.
I havent seen a single G50 anywhere, including junkyard, for nearly a year.
Anyone who still has one post so we can add em up.
Thanks :)

I live in Los Angeles, which is a mecca for older car sightings...Lots of people, no rust.

I see quite a few 2nd and 3rd gen Q45s (most look pretty tired), but the first gen is very, very rare. I might see one every few months or so, and even then, they're usually clap traps. Dont think I've seen a clean one recently.

I'm lucky if I see around 2 smooth front end (1990-1993) like mine in a year, and maybe I'll see 3 or 4 grilled 94-96s... overall, extremely rare, even more so than older SC300s and 400s.

I'm actually selling my green '93 in the forum here.

I still have mine here in NJ, although it rarely sees the road anymore since I've purchased my G37. I've owned the car for roughly 4-5 years and have not seen another 90-93 or a 94-96 yet. How unique it is makes me want to hold onto it . I miss the hell out of driving it, but the G is alot of fun. Tough call to make.

In the Bay area the 1st Gens are very few and far between. Like Movie said in LA lots of cars in good shape out there, but it kills me when I see 2nd and now 3rd gens clearly neglected and looking like crap. I rarely see a good looking Q of any generation any more, but I cannot remember the last time I saw a 1st Gen on the road.

Mine is still daily driven and still looking nice...front seats are going out though.
Next year I may decide to retire it from daily service, but I don't think I'll e able to let her go,.
So far that's 5 cars. I am glad I got that extra vh45 :)

Considering Toyota likely sold 10x as many, the g50 withstood the test of time really well. Mine is daily driven partly because I am curious as to just how long it will last.
Knock on wood, no rust yet.

Very rare to see a first gen here... I saw a nice looking 94-96 in a parking lot a few weeks ago, but otherwise, not much. Mine is mostly a garage queen... I take her out once or twice a week.

Have my 92 still 382k. Only drive it a few times a year. Tires are starting to dry rot. Picked up a silver 94 with 83k almost a year ago. Has been garaged ever since. Havent had time to get to it. Theres an AE here in town thats quite beat up. An 02 thats pretty beat as well. Ive only ever seen 1 first gen G50 and 2 second gen driving on the roads.

What kills me is mine has a mint interior, shiny pains and literally ZERO rust, ANYWHERE. Chances are, I'll just drive it up to MA and give it to my mother so I have a car when I'm visiting from Florida, and he car will remain in my family for another 5+ years.

If I bring it to MA, it's going to my mom.

I have shipping quotes of $600 or so to get it to MA, that's about how much it would cost you to get it up there.

--- If you're interested in the car, you could give me a call, or FaceTime call, and I could send pictures in real time. I drove it yesterday to get groceries and it is still such a nice daily driver car, with a perfect interior.

I just bought a 94 two months ago with 158k and in "good" shape. I'm just outside of DC and it's the only one I've seen around. It's the only one I've seen in my life period.

Mine has 128k and is in good shape. It has normal wear associated with a 22 year old car ( like the cracked leather on the front seats)
Perhaps we all should organize a get together sone time, will be the only time so many first gens are in the same place lol ( unfortunately it may only take up the first row of a drive in theater :( )

I'm in the Manasssas VA area. I think it would be great to get together with the cars and all the owners. I'm sure it would be fun and I know I would learn a lot since I'm pretty new to this car

It's already on a car carrier headed up to my mothers. It's her car now. In addition, I'll no longer need to rent a car for $50 a day when I come up for Christmas and thanksgiving weeks.

I see 2-3 nice F50 (third gens) and one really ratted out one around Austin, TX. Still love my black on black '02.

I'd say years here in Chicago since I've seen a smooth face. and my odd car eye is always on the prowl.

I currently have two pearl white 90's in the garage and a 91 in the backyard. One of the 90's is my nephew's with around 155k I believe. Then there is mine with close to 300k on it. The one in the backyard has 170k on it. I got it for parts because I needed the engine. Mine lost a good amount of compression on cylinder 7 and so I didn't want to keep driving it like that. I believe I broke a compression ring or a ring land. I also have 95 VH45de on a stand that I was originally going to use in the car. I'm now planning on putting it in the parts car and doing a 5-speed conversion on it. The exterior is pretty straight aside from the frozen hood hinges that broke. The interior is shot. It sat for about 3 years under a tree with the passenger windows down. The other 90 in the garage just needs the guides updated and will be good to go for the most part.

I'm in upper East Tennessee with my 3rd gen 05 Q and have yet to see another F50. I got on Autotrader and searched with any distance for F50's in 05 and the ultra rare 06 and nationwide it lists 13. One 06. I saw a second gen Q today and I feel like we should wave at least to one another as Subaru drivers did when I had my Outback... But they never pay attention or act like they could care less they have a Q.. oh well- there are 31 Q's (F50) listed on car-part.com in junk yards...

I haven't seen another G50 on the road in a couple of years. There was a nice Ivory 90-92 G50 for sale at a window tinting shop a couple of years ago. It quickly disappeared. I think there are two in the state. The local Infiniti dealer had a mint condition 91 model with 75,000 miles on the showroom a couple of years ago for the new location grand opening. I haven't seen it since.
