Ive never brought my car into Nissan for their "maintenance", I can do that myself and save a crapload of money.

As for the 2k Rev is just the engine warming up, i like it because once it warms up the revs are like .5 so you dont even hear the engine at 2k its purring

26,000kms on it, i'm coming up on one year old. yeah the services are expensive, good thing mine were free for the first year i bought the extended warranty for $2k and they gave me free service for a year with that, so i saved like a thousand bucks already. makes the extended warranty really worth it, unless all my mods break my car and they don't honor my warranty oh well, that's the risk i run with mods, i'll just hope that it's manufacturer's stuff that breaks and not from my mods.

Sort of I go to work then go home and then go to city once a week and most time I have my friends pick me up since they're a block away from me. This going to take a few more months just to get the engine worked in lol.
