I'm new here and need a quick question answered..

How many kilometers can the coupe take up with a full tank of gas?

Does anyone know that compared to the altima sedan?

depends on a lot of things, like your driving habits, highway-city driving ratio, how much weight you're carrying in the car, type of fuel and so on. oh and of course what engine? 2.5 or 3.5?

for the 2.5 if you drive conservatively, you can get 7-8L/100km which should get you about 800+kms to the tank. it should also be pretty much exact same as the sedan

When I was driving mostly on highways I was averaging mid to high 7's, which resulted in 900+ km before the tank is empty. (76L/(7.6L/100km) = 1000km!

Now that I'm driving in a more city driving atmosphere (rush hour traffic) I'm only averaging 9 to mid 9's and ~800 km per tank.

I drive a 2.5 with CVT

That is so good! I am currently driving an Audi A4 in the city and it definitely doesn't seem as efficient on gas than the Altima coupe. I think the A4 only drives up to 400km with one tank while filling up on supreme...

I know Hondas are also super efficient on gas, but I live in a city with snowy weather during the winter and I heard Altimas are 'okay' in the snow, can't compare to A4 but definitely better than Hondas?

Do you know if the altima coupe back seat is really small? I have to drive my parents around still, and both are under 5"2. Do you think it would be hard to get in and out for my parents because they are a bit senior if they had to sit in the back?

the back is small, no question. for kids it's no problem, for full grown adults it's cumbersome to say the least, but for seniors, it's a challenge to get in and out of. definately go to the dealership, and see how easy/hard it is for your parents to get in and out of the backseat. if you're taking passengers around all the time, i'd say go for the sedan.

and as for gas mileage per tank, you really have to take into account the size of the tank. you should really be asking more which cars have better L/100km rather than how many km's you can squeeze out of a tank. just check out nissan.ca and other sites to see the L/100km rating of the cars you're looking at to compare their fuel efficiency.

I can get the cluster to show 900+ on a tip top full take of gas with VERY light throttle. Highest I have seen is around 935kms. Driving normally around 850kms.
