Upgrading sometimes has its sacrifices. Usually, the more you upgrade, the more you have to sacrifice. I have read about a lot of folks ditching PS, AC, an other things like interior components. If you car is track only, then I fel you. But how many folks here actually kept their AC, PS, and other niceties? The only thing that I am "willing" to give up is ABS and I don't like the idea of giving that up either.

The reason I am asking for this information is that I really don't like the idea of driving around in 90+ degree weather without AC (especially in TX). I did it for a while in Italy (and it sucked big balls).

Lemme know how you guys roll, so I can see if this is feasable. Otherwise, I will need another car as a DD, damn.

I took out my a/c. But only because it's not my daily.

And ABS is overrated. My car didn't even come with it.

I ditched my AC because I was living in WA, where even houses don't come with AC. I plan on moving back to CA, but when I move back, my 240 won't be my daily. No way I'm driving my car everyday around CA cops. My car never had abs, but powersteering is a must for me though.

I had a/c at 250 whp and will still have it at 350+ whp -- using an apexi power fc and it states that I can keep the a/c which is good cause it gets hot where I live.

I had everything still installed on my 90 w CA, but my compressor bearing was leaking and it sucked driving around Naples in 90+ degree weather w/o AC. I was running a 2871r, 740cc inj, Walbro FP, Nismo FPR, FMIC w/ 2.5" piping, and Power FC. And it took me and my buddy forever to tune it correctly, lol. I think his Supra is still untuned and I left Naples almost 6 months ago.

I am toying around with the idea of shooting for somewhere around 400 HP this time with an S14 SR. I don't like the idea of turbo lag, but I am looking heavily into "responsive" T3 (and equivelent) setups. Most of the guys in my area are putting down 350-450 HP and do 1/4 mile racing. Only one or two that I have met talked about autocross or road courses and that is what I am looking get back inito.

I think I am going to leave it out so I can atleast drive my car for the summer, but once winter comes around again I will probably take the time to install the ac.
