How many have Plenum Spacers on there Z. What is your take on them? I did not see or notice much differance other than the lower growl of the sound. Am I missing something?

they only offer a minor hp gain and are more beneficial when coupled with forced induction, if you want mods you can feel, ...forced induction is the only way to go

Plenum spacers will add 11-15hp. That type of hp you will feel. Coupled with intake and exhaust and you will be set. Most say the spacer is the best bang for your buck mod.

gonna have to argue that one, Nissan Sport mag did a comapro and the only major gains were made on forced induction cars, on n/a I think the largest gain was 7 hp and that was I believe the kintex log style manifold

I will have to rebutle that altered atmosphere's angled plenum 5/16 spacer added 13whp to a z they dyno tested bone stock before the mod and immediately after installing it. STock was around 220whp and with the spacer it was 233whp. Then they had A.A. reflash the ECU and gained another 13wph. The ECU flash was more than the spacer with same gains. The gains are probably less on an automatic than a manual, which is why the results you state are only 7hp. Still the best bang for you buck mod, period. The 5/16 spacer is only 240 bones. What else are you going to buy for a NA car and net anything over 7hp up to 13? You spend 1k on an exhaust sytem and still wouldn't get those gains.
