I have an 86 kingcab 720 but it states NISSAN on the back woot woot!

Mine says both on the gate but 1984 and on it said nissan on the gate.

So I have two with nissan. I like the position of the datsun lights.

Mine is an 85 so it says nissan. I'm considering building a new tray, if I can get the 80 - 83 tail lights I'll debadge and pretend its all datsun.

I was just trying to see how many of the forumers had it stamped on their tail gates. It seems like they are far and few between anymore. I saw one last month in town. Its just kind of cool when you do see one. I walked a huge junk yard a while back and only found 2 Datsun trucks in the whole yard and neither one had a tail gate on them or doors for that matter! One had the doors but they were smashed pretty badly. I was lucky enought to be able to retreive the passengers side window that was still in tact!

My 83 has datsun badges all around and the tailgate to match. Makes people think its older than it is...not that an 83 is new...

Speaking of tailgates, Mybusters did a revisit of the tailgate up or down myth for trucks and they found out that a net with no tailgate gets the best mpg, then tailgate up was second.

Mine says Dastun really big, and says Nissan in the lower left, I just bought a donor truck yesterday and it only said Datsun on it.
