How many gallons does an 04 G35 have?

Try filling it on the slowest setting and shaking it every so often.

It's most likely your shrader valve (sp?) I had that problem in my 05.. they replaced that and it's fixed!

I'm going to say 20 gallons. I know they have been 20 gallons for some time, maybe a few 04 owners can correct me if I'm wrong. Just because your fuel gauge points to E doesn't mean the tank is empty.

The 04's have 20 gallons, and the warning light comes on with a 5 gallon reserve I believe, and if you get too low, (about to run out) the CEL will appear and your SOL...

yeah i was on E one time and i was on the way to the gas station and i ran out of gas on a hill. not only was I holding up traffic for miles, but i was so embarrassed lol. Luckily a nice guy got me off the road and got me some gas. but now i have dents from him having to push off the side because i was on a hill. it sucks

I've never put in more than 15gal...nice to know there is some room even when the computer says --
