RB20DET 370cc top feedRB25DET 370cc side feedRB26DETT 444cc top feed

R injectors wont work on the 25T unless you modify the fuel rail to accept top feeds.

tw peopel the injector page has changedthe old one is still therebut use this one for nowhttp://www.meggala.com/injectorscss.htmalso we are working to see if you can use the gtr injectors in the rb20 I know it has been done I'm I have the injectors on my shelf just waitig to get the ecu sorted .Mad do you know of anyone using the gtr injecotrs in an rb20 do they use theresistor pack or not the reason Iask is for bigger injectors nismo quote the same part number for rb20 and rb26. Ihave also heard of peopel using ca18 injectors in rb20's which are low impedance.cheers meggala

btw I just got my ca 180 on friday even my missus quoted how slow it is hahaha once your used to an rb there is no going back. admittedly it is dead stock.why do I have so many black cars I dont even like black :D

the GTR uses low impedance injectors, wire in the dropping resistor to keep the computer from frying. The Cimas with VG30DETs have the same resistor as the GTR and are a lot easier to find. You CA18DET also uses low impedance so the R injectors are a direct drop in.

We can use the 89-91 Series 5 RX7 (Turbo II) 550cc injectors right? Just remembered reading that somewhere. Going by the Euro rule of thumb... 550cc will support 550hp... what does everyone here think... discuss

I think RC's calculator is way on the conservative side. 50lb injectors on a 4 cylinder have made 350rwhp reliably. 6X550cc injectors should be able to make ~500+ crank hp. It (BSFC and therefore hp/cc/min) depends on a lot of factors.

Here is what MKIV.com says about the fuel injectors on the Supra... I know the 2JZ is not a RB, but it gives you an idea about what those injectors can do power wise on a six (bigger six... but still a six). It kind of gives a good ref point.

fuel rail and injectors: the stock fuel rail and injectors are quality units, capable of supporting the same HP as the stock fuel pump. the injectors are rated at 540 cc/min at 41.2 psi of fuel pressure (~550 cc/min at 43.5 psi), and are a two-hole, side-feed, low resistance design. these injectors enable the hot injector to be cooled by its fuel supply, increasing both hot starting and drivability. push your power past 475 rwhp, however, and your exhaust gas temperatures (egts) may climb due to a leaning-out condition. those pushing the limits of the stock system will need to keep a close eye on this. it would be a good idea to have your injector cleaned and balanced if you plan on pushing 500 rwhp on the stock system.
