of all the 240s out there, how much of them drift? what do you guys think?seeing that drift events are mostly 240s, it kinda seems like this car has its own sport lol. this is somethin im just a bit curious about.

after watching a few hours of drift vids on youtube, 85-90 percent of the cars are 240s at the events.

Where do you mean? on Nico or throughout the entire world?

On Nico most of them do, around the world i'd say at least half of all of them drift or have been drifted in to an accident and junked.

every s13 owner drifts. if they tell you they don't their lying. next time you stop and chat with a 240 owner ask them if they drift, don't take no for an answer though

Traction tuned is the way to go for drifting!

i used to think it was true when i was trying to find a clean car w/o "drift tax" but what i have come to realize is that every 240 has probably been sideways at some point--thats not because its a drifters car but because its RWD and cheap

idk if anyone who has owned one or does own one can say they have NEVER..EVER gotten her sideways. and im not being a d!ck when i say either lol so no one take it that way

hmm i see, well i'm pretty sure my s13 hasn't been drifted. a guy bought it for his teenage daughter and she ran it dry til the engine blew. her dad then put it in teh back of his used car lot til someone driving passed noticed it and bought it with the blown motor. that guy took it back to his place and puled the engine then didn't have time to finish the project so i bought it. since the car hasnt moved under it's own power since the girl blew it up i think its safe to say it wasnt drifted

i hate when people who dont know what theyre doing get ahold of 240s...

that is the exact same situation for mine. grandma bought it for her daughter, ran it dry of oil and let it sit in the yard for a while. then swapped a new engine into it n was only used to daily to n from the store for the grandma

F*** drifting. Never have. Never will. Doughnuts and burnouts don't count.

I plan on having my 2 (and possibly adding a kouki s14, too) for a long time. That kind of wear and tear, with the added possibility of willfully destroying body panels, is not for me. Road/Circuit Racing is one thing, but drifting and the drifter mentality has become increasing inane, IMO...

I bought my car in 1999, the previous owners were a young married couple in Indiana. The owners manual with the case still had the dealer cards from Indiana. I've gotten my car sideways about a dozen times or so but otherwise my car is just a cruiser....low and slow.

Are you kidding me. I bet only 25% of NICOnauts drift. Everybody else is too worried about whether or not their crazy car audio is going to fit in their trunk or if they can fit +40 offset wheels.
