I'm on the road almost all day due to my job.I see more Ferraris and Lambos on the road than 03-04 M45s. So does anybody have any info as of how many total were made during that year and half.

Thanks

Hovik

I don't know the exact number, but they were only produced for 17 months.

Less than 5K. The porblem with the sales numbers is they don't distinguish between old Y34 and new Y50 sold in 2005 and maybe a few in 2006.

Per Nissan, there were 4755 sold in '03 and 2090 in '04. Not sure the acutal number built.

From Dec 2002, there were 7533 Y34 M45's sold, although there may be a few units overlapping with the new M35/45 in the final months of the charts here: zerothread/191187.

Since this model had been released a few months prior to Dec 2002, as I recall, the actual total number is probably a bit higher - my estimate would be about 500 more, but certainly no more than that!

So, there are probably 8000 of those model years here ... very rare car!

Didn't know so many 03 were sold. Thought it was about 2700. About 2300 of the 04, so my memory is shot.

Thanks. Z.

This topic is exactly what I love about my '03 M45. I do 30,000 miles annually and have seen 4 since I bought mine in February. No one knows what it is, and those who ask can't beleive 340hp V-8. Sleeper!

Totally agreed with all your points! I have only seen around six or seven - there is one somewhere near my house that I see more often, but even that has been a rare sighting ... only about ten times in three years.

Thanks for all the info guys!8K! WOW! We certainly see alot less on the streets...There are currently about 10 of them for sale on Ebay. I follow on the market very closely as I'll be getting one within couple of months. Still deciding on the color, but seems like the silver or grey is the way to go.Is there some other Grill that looks exactly like the stock one but without the infiniti logo? I'm probably going to take the signs off the rear too... make people guess what kind of car it is!
