How long will you keep her

Hey guys, just courius. I got my 1990 240sx a while a ago. I got a carbon hatch on her cause the old one had some rust on it heh brand new red paint job. She looks brand new, inside and out side. ppl never belive me its a 15 year old car heh. Just wondering how long are you plannning on keeping your s13. I think Im gonna have mine for the rest of my life. Il just keep on rebuilding the engine, everytime I hit high mileage heh.

i will prob keep mine for maybe 10 years or so, when i have kids i will get rid of it. use it as my fun car while i am still young then sell it when i get old (i am 20 now)

I will keep it as long as it keeps me entertained. The EF hatch with the B series I have cooking up or the balls out NA 20B PP in a FC3S are beginning to creep back into my dreams.

At least another 2-3 years I guess...

i never plan on getting rid of my baby. its not worth it to sell her. once i get my plumb 350z, i will begin making the 240 into a fuking MONSTER! im talking about a gutted, caged, fully built race motor track whore. this car is gonna make me. believe that .

when i was younger i used to like riding atvs and i always wanted for a honda 250r because they are sick as hell. well i bought one but sold it a few years down the road. iv been in withdrawl ever since and i know if i did that with my car it would be ten times worse. its just not worth it if you put ten thousand dollars in your car and cant even sell it for 5,000. every time i buy something for the car i know ill never get any of the money back but i do it because i dont plan on selling my car. cars arent suposed to be investments.

I don't want to rain on your parade, but I wouldn't count on that sort of money after school unless you get lucky. And people have gotten lucky. Word from the wise though, save your money.

I have had mine for almost five years now and I am actually now parting with it. It is my first car, but it is going to a good home (going to be garaged). The replacement for my 240 is a R32 Skyline GTR.

I have had so many 240SX in my life that is getting alittle too boreing! but one thing for sure is I am never going to sale my true love of all 240sx my first 240sx that i got about 5 years ago which is my coupe, also the only coupe I ever owned! I have and am saleing every HB I ever own even my SR hatch! I am saleing it to get my wife a Z33

I imagine when I'm done making it into the beast that I want I'll put it in storage and go take it out once in a while and keep up maintenance. And then one day when my kid is old and mature enough I'll take him to the place I stored it and show him what I had hidden from him.

I'll probably keep mine for as long as possible... I mean, I have it all paid for, and have been fixing it (as money permits) since I got it... so for the most part it is running really well now. But when I graduate college and get a stable job, I plan on buying a hybrid of some sorts as my DD and then taking the second engine that I have for my 240 (which by then will be turbo'd, and bench tested) and putting that sucker in and having the 240 as a weekend / track car

I will keep mine for a while. The only reasons to get rid of it would be an accident or if money gets tight. I wouldn't drive my 240 in the snow I would sell it before that happens.

i dunno how long ill keep the one i have... but i do know ill be a nissan guy 4 life.... but ill still have a couple other cars, im getting my dads commuter 95 v6 mustang in a year, first thing ill do to that is rip out the v6, drop in a v8 and make it a drag car
