A weekend to do the swap but you should definately allow yourself some time for getting it right, lol...Some of these motors have been sitting for a minute and can be a PITA at times

The swap should not take long.

1.Disconnect everything from ka2.Pull ka3.Put in sr4.Reconnect everything5.6.Profit

But for real shouldn't take more then a weekend to make sure everything is right. I'm hoping to get my ka out, sr in and running in a day or 2 if needed

but that depends, do you have everything you need as in upgraded parts wise, wireharness, etc?

All by myself in my garage it took me a total of 4 and a half days to get everything completely done. Don't rush and just take your time.

The easiest part of the process is pulling and dropping the motors. The time consumption is the prep work for the chassis and the SR motorset. If you get all of that done before your get to your weekend then you can do a swap in a full day. If you have 3 other people that know about the s chassis and the SR swap you can get everything done in one day if you all work together and the wiring is already done. I have pulled a KA and dropped an SR in one day almost completely by myself. The next day I started at 8 AM and was driving by 11, but I did all the prep work on the chassis and motor before I go to the weekend. It was my third or fourth swap. For your first...you more than likely won't be able to pull this off.
