All of u DIY's.... how long did it take you to do ur SR swap... any suggestions on what to have around and suggestion would help to..

It may sound basic, but you will need all the tools.. including engine hoist, your standard wrench/ratchet tool kit, breaker bars, TORQUE WRENCH. Additional tools that will streamline the swap are ratchet wrenches and an air torque gun.

Parts you will definately need:

1) Intercooler + Pipings2) Igniter chip3) ECU4) Clutch + Resurfaced Flywheel5) Air filter

Parts you should replace:

1) Water pump2) Thermostat3) Drive belts4) Clutch5) All fluids6) Spark plugs7) Fuel pump

Also depending on condition of your clip/motorset, you may need to replace the BOV and/or intercooler, pipings, o2.

Swap time is anywhere from 2 days to a week or more depending on your skill level & number of people working on it.

one week at 2 hours a day.. hahaha... couldve done it in a weekend..but had to do soooo much! gosh....soo much prepping ! like cleaning engine bay, etc etc ^_^ bling bling baby

i get to use a friends hydraulic lift so thats not a prob and i have access to all basic tools.... any idea on price range for all aftermarket parts.. i.e. water pump, intercooler, piping, clutch, and fuel pump... do the injectors need to b replaced????
