How long do you think I have??

Ok, when I bought the car, I noticed the passenger rack boot was torn. The boot covers the tear (ya gotta pull it apart before the tear shows itself). Anyway how long do u think I can run on this before the inner tie rod gets screwed and I gotta replace the entire rack??

Also if I replace the rack, how hard would it be to install the Kazama / TEIN tie rod combo at the same time??:help
