How long can a KA24DE last?

Hello everyone. I want to get another 240SX. I did some searching and I may have found a good deal. It is a 1991 with the KA24DE, of course. I am familiar with the SOHC because I own one. But I want more power and an option to add more power later or I may do a swap or turbo the KA.OK thats enough of that. the car I am looking at has 168k. How much longer can she run. The timing was done already and the engine sounded and ran fine to me. It is mostly highway miles.Give me some input please. And lets assume proper maintenance(a mechanic is selling).Thank You.

take good care of it and it can last 500 000 km... if not more. And this goes for any engine.

on altimas.net there are several ka24de's over 200,000 miles and one at 245,000 and still going
