Being very close to Korea I hear a bit more about what goes on there. Apparently the Korean parliament is quite the mad house. This is the latest fight over a media ownership bill. And I mean actual fight.http://www.break.com/index/hug....html

This is pretty much standard stuff over there. They routinely get into scuffles and I remember recently one party barricaded themselves in the chambers to push through legislation and the other party smashed the doors in with sledgehammers. The people inside the chamber started spraying them with fire extinguishers.

I'm not Korean, I understand nothing of their culture, but I have to assume this is somehow ok to them. It seems completely unacceptable to me.

While I don't watch Korean TV, my parent's do. And while growing up and passing by their TV, I'd occassionally see a fight within their parliament. Its a friggin freakshow...
