Make sure you have a very accurate temp gauge if you are going to drift. Nothing is more fun than being sideways and notice the temperature spike.
also do the proper maintenance on the motor and freshen up some of the gaskets and replace the rear main while its out, always good to know you have a proper water pump and stat too. Look at the guides and make sure they aren't about to go and it should be solid til you shoot a rod through your bottom end.
SRs are easy to work on and the parts market for that motor is crazy plentiful.
