Hey guys, the interior plastic panel right on the side of the drivers seat, between the front and rear doors - what holds this on?

I believe it has to be clips of some sort, any chance anyone knows the part number, or a solution to keep this plastic piece from unattaching?

Thanks!

Thanks for the info, I've noitcied you usually have to give it a good whack to get it to stat in place. However, even with a good whack, it always comes loose 2-3 days later...

Can the clips be replaced or are they actually part of the oanel itself/ I was thinking of heading over to the boneyard and pickig some clips up if possible.

Thanks for the response!

Gorilla glue. You may want to include a note of apology to whatever sorry soul has to take it off next time.

Thanks guys, Gorilla Glue it is...

Is there anything that requires that panel to be removed?

Any common problems or maitenence behind there?

Just don't want to have to tear it outta there down the road.

I wouldnt gorilla glue.

The seatbelt assembly is obviously behind there, and also there is a seat belt tensioner that has been known to set on fire in case of a crash.

good information, sounds like the best way to go is to get the plastic clamps, remove the old and put the new ones.... does anyone have pics of the clamp that needs to be bought?

Ya, if anyone has information about the piece which is supposed to hold it on there, let me know I'd much rather fix it properly

I wouldnt use any type of glue on that panel , myself you mite try addiing some paper where the clips go in.. that might make a tighter fit .. and if you have a salvage yard that has j30s have at it , stay away from dealers...every thing is costly! And another thing before you take any thing off in the interor... get a interor tool .. it looks like a flat wide screwdriver with a two tounges on it... I replaced my whole interior.. so I would say I know anything youd like to know on the subject
