there are good dealerships and bad, and just because they are a dealership does not mean they are any better than any other shop, they do get trained on the latest changes by the manufacturer but the tech's are doing the same jobs repeatedly and finding ways to save time so they can make more money as they get paidn a specific amount regardless of the amount of time it actually takes

Yeah first time i played on it was back in 03 when my dukes first picked up the Xterra. goood times,

The Z was only out for a few months when we were at the dealer. I remember the first Z i sat in was a silver coupe 6mt in the showroom for about 3 hours with my friend, and i was shifting around pretending like i was driving it. Back then I didn't really know what that car was.

Fast forward a few years later ||>>

Never thought in a million years I'd end up in one. To this day it still riddles me.

well guys my used Z just went into service the other day i guess they didnt get a chance to replace the brakes b4 i bought the car.... so i went to check on the progress yesterday, and they replace the stock rotors with drilled and slotted rotors and gave me brand new calipers n pads:)

any idea why they would upgrade the rotors for me for free? not that i have a problem with it but so far i like the service!!!

this at the dealership or other shop? I don't forsee an Nissan dealership using anything but stock parts, a smaller shop might find that they can get the crossdrilled aftermarkets cheaper than stock or quality aftermarket

the next time you go in make sure they don't try to charge you with a replacement set of cross drilled and slotted rotors... they maybe trying to pull one on ya. and if they are not trying to pull one on ya, then you are really licky or they are really cool!
