Does anyone expect elected republicans who sign tax pledges not to raise taxes to do anything to correct this?
There is a list, but there's like 1.8 million of them.WDRacing wrote:Our tax code is an utter POS. I'm pretty sure that's one thing that all Americans can universally agree on. Is there a way we could come up with a list of all the non profits in America? It would be nice to dissect it and then shine the spot light right onto the glaringly obvious need for changes. How many school books could we buy for our kids by taxing the NFL alone.
Why do we even have a non profits for that matter?
For the NFL, absolutely, but not necessarily for everyone. Would you have an issue with a charity based non-profit like the American Red Cross having that loophole?WDRacing wrote:I'd be ok with getting rid of the non profit loop hole entirely.
I suppose it would be more of a negative to tax charities...some of them do some real good after all. But anything that isn't a charity or a church...f***.Bubba1 wrote:For the NFL, absolutely, but not necessarily for everyone. NPO's should have some sort of yearly review. Honestly, while we still cling to requiring businesses to "so called pay" taxes (big laugh) and as long as they have to file returns, NPO's should have to do the same, and the numbers should end up showing a ZERO for taxable profit. If it shows anything other than ZERO, then they pay whatever taxes are imposable on that amount.WDRacing wrote:I'd be ok with getting rid of the non profit loop hole entirely.
You didn't click the article I linked...stebo0728 wrote:Now Im baffled as to how the NFL fits this mold.
