Hi, I'm interested in getting some lowering springs for my 89 240sx. Anyone with Megan springs know how they ride like? Is it bouncey? How is the ride height? Do they improve the handling much? They will be on stock shocks for a while, so would there be any problems?

ThanksBen

Mine are in the mail. Should be here in about 2 days. I'll tell you how they are mated with KYB GR2's.

I'm not dissing megan rancing but, i too was going to go for megan springs. I have the shifter and i'm not to happy with the quality. the blue plate acually broke and i had to use the stock c-clip to hold it in. I figure that is acceptable for a $50 shifter compared to $200 for the almighty b&M. But i didn't want to trust them for my springs. I went with a set of tien s-techs which i have on stock struts. I love how they lowered my car and also improved handling and overall ride quality for just springs on stock struts. You can get a set for $140 on ebay and trust me even if you have to save an extra paycheck or two it is well worth it. I understand not all of us have lots of cash to spend on our cars and just want to have a nice respectable 240. Hey it going to take me about 4 weeks to piece together my q45 brake upgrade. Just buy one piece at a time and be patient. your car isn't going anywhere, at least in stock form:-)
