Do you take out the antenna and motor on a fastback?

I'm doing this from memory, so if I'm wrong, then somebody correct me. First twist off the black plastic thing that keeps the antenna from retracting all the way down. you can use a pair of needle-nosed pliers to get into those two holes and just twist.

next you take out the jack and there are (iirc) two bolts that hold the jack mount into place. remove the mount to make things easier.

you should be able to see the antenna wire coming from the head unit. unclip that. Then its just a matter of finding the screws/ bolts holding the motor in place.

its pretty simple. you just need a flashlight and a ratchet or wrench. i forget what sizes you need though.

hope this helps

10mm and/or a phillips screw driver for the inside stuff. I use snap ring pliers to remove the antenna nut on the outside.
