Save your money for an eye exam and do some reading here before blowing your cash on performance debilitating modifications unless you want to be slow like your friend.Alter-ego wrote: I am about to add a short ram intake as soon as it comes in, and would love to find a cat back exaust for it.
The air box just looks very restrictive, and the exaust setup seems like it limits the cars ability to really breathe.
I know on a small car you can add 2-5hp with an intake, but with a V8 I just have to believe it would be much more.
Looks can be deceiving. I'm fairly certain that your F50 was built from the carefully engineered blueprints drawn up by the top Nissan engineers. And the Q45 wasn't a car built for street races and intense modifications.Alter-ego wrote:I'm sure that he would have gotten me off the line no doubt, but at a 30mph rolling start 50 more foot pounds of torque I didn't have to get the BIG Q rolling from a dead stop. He'd throw the car into neutral and let it roll back and rev, then slip it back into drive and go forward. He spanked a 5.0 Mustnag once while I was with him. He used the lower gears quite frequently. He still does it in his 03 2.5 Altima.

The Datsun 810 was Rear Wheel Drive, replaced by the 1985 Front Wheel Drive Maximamaxnix wrote:And there was the 810 sedan before that in reply to Toyota's Cressida.
