On my old s14's I used to do the O2 sensors myself for about 25 bucks total. I need 2 O2 sensors and 2 Knock sensors on my 2000 Q and It is gonna cost me a boat load. Throw in the fact that I need a new radiator as well and I'm looking at about 1300 bucks for parts and labor.

I don't have the time or place to do the work myself right now so I'm going to be taking this one. I won't even mention the MUCH higher price to get all this done at the Dealership instead of my buddies shop.

I'll stop Ranting now since I know you have to pay to play, and that I am in a MUCH better car than my old 240's.

Take it to T-3 in Atlanta (in Smyrna on Cobb actually). You will be glad you did.

Actually I'm going to XAT racing . they are two blocks from my place and they do great work. Plus I know everyone that works there and they will tell me the truth about what all is wrong and what needs to be done.

Thanks though.

Get the parts form Joe. If they work on BMW, they should be somewhat familiar with MacPherson strut front suspension.

Bring an FSM for them for reference.

Most shops should be able to turn wrenches on these cars, theyre not that difficult. Diagnosing problems is different but turning wrenches... its just a nissan.

Where are you getting the KS and o2 sensors?

I doubt he makes them or even stocks them.

You really want OEM from Joe or at least NTK from http://www.sparkplugs.com

Don't forget the harness.

NOTE: Just because it is in a Nissan looking box doesn't mean it is not an OEM rejected unit. There is a whole thread on this subject.

Sorry to hear about that. Im scared to see how much the dealer is going to charge me on my F50 o2 sensor. It ripped off from hitting something while driving low. The SES light has come on since. I just have not been driving the car much since.
