how i got the transmision aligned

well realising how weak i am and not wanting to damage the driveshaft i figured out a peculiar technique. with the engine removed i adjusted the engine hoist to the appropriate height. i then sat in front of it and had my assistant place the transmission in my lap. that way i could use my butt abdomen and leg muscles to easily adjust the angle till it slid in. then it was just a matter of threading in the bolts. a little humilaition saved me a lot of time effort and grief. the end.
