Here's a simple, friendly suggestion:
Don't do that.
Unless you have a sick fetish involving demolishing the engine in the car you just bought, do not rev the engine that high.
You should listen to the people on these boards, my friend. The KA does not produce enough power over 6500 rpm to justify revving that high. If you are still getting a good pull on the engine after 6500, one of two things has happened:
1. The engine is not a KA. I repeat, NOT a KA. 2. Whoever you bought the car off of has heavily modified the engine internals and upgraded the ECU. Judging from the slick decal and other meaningless ricework that owner did, I think option 1 is a lot more likely.
Or you're just doing exactly what Nissan put the redline there for you NOT to do...
