Asking the wrong people...if the rx7 community couldn't help you're better off talking to local shops for fabrication work.

Should try looking for the guy that did actually swap in an sr into his FD though...I'm sure he can give you pointers.

why would you want to do that though? The 13b motor should be lighter.....and twin turbo....and they sound so freakin good!

the 13b is a heavy engine. just put an ls1 in the fd. more power stock, good gas mileage. and all teh torque you could want at 1k rpm

yeah if you are planing on doing a hybrid fd just do and LS swap, believe it or not the LS v8 wieghts as much as the 13B and has better ballance than the 13B the ballance on the 13b sucks since both the turbos are on the same side. i once saw some drifter in a green FD who had a SR in there , about 2 years ago in i think modified mag, so it is do able , but lots of customization. and still not getting as much HP as the v8

well when you decide "HEY! i want an fd" and get indepth with the expense to have that car and not have any money then you will know why i would put an sr into an fd and do my best to make it work.

actually i have thought of it since i am planning on getting an fd and then hopefull put a LS in it. and god i know the damn things are expensive, (fd rolling chasis) but since there are kits already availible for the LS swap to me it makes since to go that route intead of trying to build a kit for the SR swap, but then again it is your car do what ever you want to do with it
