below thread says http://forums.nissanversa.org/zerothread/381175

To change these plugs, you need to drain the coolant, remove the intake manifold and all four coils, and you will need a special plug socket (not sure of the size or make/part number). The service manual.

Is this true that the process is this difficult? especially draining the coolant part?

thanks for the help - Promised Land! I managed to download the Tiida/Versa service manual and found the above relevant pages.

On the instruction it says...1. Remove engine cover (1).2. Drain engine coolant. 3. Remove oil level gauge.4. Loosen and remove intake manifold (1) bolts (A) (B).

can i skip steps 2 and 3, and move from 1 to 4?

I didn't drain the coolant so you can skip the step.

Sweetaz, Great pics! Thankyou. Hard to tell from looking how hard it will be. I have 90,000 miles to go, luckily.

When I looked at it, I b****ed like crazy because none of where the spark plug was. But once you're into it, it isn't that bad.

I just used a a snap-on plyer to block the coolant (in case) and that it.
