How hard is it too clean the seats in 2006 Xterra?

I'm thinking about buying an Xterra, but I was disappointed to see the seats are cloth, and cloth that is textured nonetheless. Are the seats easy to clean? If something spilled on it, would it immediately soak into the seat, or is the material at least liquid resistant?

Thanks!

The newest edition of Xterra is supposed to have a stain resistant, water repelling fabric.

But there is no fabic that is completely impervious to dirt!

I use a Bissel Mean Green spot carpet cleaner in my 2000 Xterra and the material always looks like new when I'm done. ( You just need to get the right pre-mix solution )

The machine was under $100.00 and has paid for itself 10x over in my house and my vehicles!

i think the seats are like my frontier's...

they are easy to clean for basic stuff (fuzz, dirt, whatever) but if you get dog hair in there, look out. that texture holds freaking hair like no tomorrow. even with the shop vac, it takes forever to get it out.
