How hard is it to work on a Q45 Motor?

I am pretty good at working on Ford 302's and 351's. There is nothing that I cannt do on it except dealing with piston installation. I understand that a 4.5 motor is much more complex, but is it really that hard to deal with. I am not talking about a head job, but basic stuff like changing valve cover gaskets, or hoses, pulling the intake off.

It's a little more complex than what you've been doing, but everything is pretty intuative. Make sure you have a copy of the shop manual. Go for it!
