A few guys in here in Canada with R32's, especially MINES tuned ECU's are tuned for different gas, no one has had major issues but there is a difference none the less and isn't using the full potential of the ECU. The NISMO ECU could have the same issues. I'm not sure of the software NISMO uses but it may be hard to change anything on the chip if at all.
As for running a Power FC for your RB25, I would strongly suggest it if you plan on keeping the car for a long time and plan to make some numbers. A stand-alone ECU is amazing and the Power FC will do anything you ask it to. However, if you don't know what to ask it to do, let someone else take care of that for you.
