That's a good point. I'll do that.95silvia14 wrote:you pry from both sides of the joint
I forgot about that. Actually, I was using to troubleshoot last night and I forgot. My bad...95silvia14 wrote:if the headlights are down. take the plastic cap off the top of the motor for the headlight, it has a manual override of the electrical system just turn the knob to lift the headlights.
Paul, I just need the arms in good shape without cracks.redclaw05 wrote: have both headlight assemblys for sale.
Thanks, but I tried and it didn't work.mrgreeneyes wrote:from what ive found, cleaning up the ground wire that grounds the motor to the bracket will help with the unequal speeds/slowness.
Knobs are their for the safety and convenience. For example, if your motor is out, you can turn the knob, raise the headlight and drive around that way. I used it to fine tune the arm's length and install it correctly. Once you use the switch to turn on/off the headlights, settings that you jusy did with the knobs are gone.Nacho_240 wrote:I'm glad you got it all figured out. FYI, some one once told me that the knob on the top of the motors effects how the lights pop up. Not sure if it's true but I would have tried that first.
