how hard is it to install a ca18

i really want to install a ca18det in my 1991 nissan 240sx. I wondering if there is any mods I need to do and how hard is it going to be to install this engine. Thanks

I will save you a lot of trouble, SEARCH, there is info galore we have already covered many times over.

That said, putting a ca18det swap IN is just as easy as putting in a ka24, that is the standard motor for this car the world over. The hard part is getting it to run, and the worst work there will depend how well you know cars and your in particular. Wiring is pretty straightforward.

he is saving him trouble from us... there is a reason we have a FAQ section here and a search button. NOOB's that dont use it are open to being flamed... i will sit back and spectate on this one..

Don't do it. It's too hard. I've done 3 and I have reduced my life expecentacy by 17 years, lost 3 inches from my height, dropped 62 IQ points and I am now a eunuch.

heres a great idea... throw a bottle on the KA and be done... thats the easiest way
