Im thinking about rebuilding my little t25. I was looking to buy a used t28 or t25 but I can't find any. Plus if I rebuild mine then I know that it is good and will last me a while. Are there any special brands for rebuild kits I should look for? Will I need any special tools? Thanks in advance.

Don't bother with the stock T2-small. At least upgrade to an S13 T25, or get an S14/15 T28. Plus with the T28, it won't really need a rebuild. The stock turbo is just too small. It heats the air up too much.

Oh, and I've heard you have to have the shaft re-balanced when you rebuild it because you have to remove the blades. AFAIK, only someone who has the right equipment can balance the shafts as you have to spin them up to 100K rpms+.
