How hard is it for the swap?

I'm trying to figure out how hard it would be to replace my P.O.S. KA24E with a KA24DE. How hard of a swap is it? Does it just drop in? Also I was wondering what year ecu I could use on a 92' DE. Thanks.

Search, there are threads describing exactly what you need to convert your sohc to a dohc. Basically, motor, harness, ecu, coil, distrib. pretty much everything that is different from the e needs to be swapped in order to have a running de.
