MY friend has this s13 he bought but the previous owner had cut springs on it :tisk: Anyways...I guess the pressure pushed the strut tower upwards bending the hood. I took this picture to show you the gap between the frame rail and the bottom of the tower. I told him he needs to part the car but he said a shop can fix it for 200 bucks. Kids NEVER cut your springs

Highly doubt that's from cut springs.
cars either been wrecked, and the impact caused the welds and seal to crack, or it just rusted through the weld and separated.

to fix that, Correctly... id pull the motor, and get it on a frame machine... Cutting and welding anything that involves the strut tower can be tough, because if its a bit off, your alignment may never be right.

I know this car. I almost bought it off the dude that cut the springs. That thing is F#$%ED. It's been passed around MD on Craigslist for the past year. The wheel well is rusted from the frame rail up. Also the dudes development had speed bumps, so the frame is bent to he!!. The funny thing is about this car is that the price goes up every time. It started at $300, then $1000, now $1900. It's only good as parts... poor car.
