Simple enough? How fast have you been in your 240sx?? This thread is for those of you that have track speeds, tickets, an aftermarket speedometer, or speed-measuring device. We call know that an un-governed RB can "bury the needle" on a stock speedometer, but if you've got some actual numbers, BE SURE TO POST THEM HERE!!! And don't forget to list your mods and setup....

I'll be posting mine whenever I have a chance to take it down an empty highway one night soon, using Datascan to monitor (now that I have it registering speed).

raced a Hybusa, got up to 155mph (according to his speedo) with him at my door (just to check my speed), after I backed out of it he punched it to 180

The hybusa was staying at my door on purpose to monitor my speed via his speedo, I'm running the skyline R33 cluster and I pass 180kmh all the damn time so wanted him to see what I could hit and in mph. I wish I could keep up with that bike at any speed lol

You hit the REV limiter in 5th gear?? when I shut down I was not too far into 5th (if I remember correctly) maybe 4200... she was still pulling pretty hard but we were about to reach the crest of a hill and I wanted the bike to get back over into the correct lane just encase. I couldn't imagine maxing out 5th that would be crazy speed!

oh one addition to my mod list is an R33 diff and axles, not sure how much of a top end difference you'd see with a stock open diff but I hear the r33 diff is better for top end.

162mphRB25DET, Greddy intake, fmic, exhaust, 12 psi. 300+ rwhpClosed location, ( as in no other cars on road, and couldnt enter.)

I probably could've gone faster, but i was afraid my tires would give out before i got to the speed i wanted. They definitely weren't rated for those speeds.

yep, my friend james said that a year ago.

middle of nowhere, and it really was. 10 miles outside of the city.

a truck pulled out in front of him when he was going 135.

now he is dead.
