mid 16s if youre lucky(5spd), lsd wont do much at all, the exaust never does as much as you would like.

LSD wont' do much at all??????!!!!!!!!!!! I've seen people consistently drop .25 off their ET with a LSD (posi-trak in the V8 world). It most certainly does help, it's one of the most effective modifications for increasing quarter mile times. Very high powered cars often gain more than that, it's a PITA to get sideways when you hit every gear. A good 1.5 or 2 way LSD can almost solve that.

if you really have a jdm lsd, you're gonna run slower. i don't know how much that exhaust will help. the gear ratio on a jdm lsd is like 3.somethingorother as opposed to 4.something. there's a few guys here that know numbers for the jdm/usdm lsd's. . .

what're you talking about with the air cleaner? a K&N air filter?

Unless I'm SORELY mistaken, all differentials in any incarnation of a 240SX were 4.08, JDM or USDM. The only car I know of that has a significantly lower ratio is a Z32 TT, which has 3.46. An LSD of the same or even slightly smaller ratio will improve your times, every time.

opps sorry, i thought i read somewhere where they said jdm LSD's would give you a higher top speed because it had a different gear ratio than a 240's lsd. . .so i can buy any s14 lsd and they'll all be the same?
