How fast would a Vert be if it had about 230-250whp, with either KA-T or SR? Is it possible to hit mid 13's?

I am sure you could get a 'vert to run 13's if you really tried with either engine. I'm not sure how much HP you would need... I would guess you would need a little closer to 300 to hit mid 13's. But that's just a guess.

If drag racing, or autocross, etc... is your goal... i would get a coupe or fastback 240. They are a little lighter and lot more rigid.

Not saying you couldn't do it.. just depends on your priorities.

You should find a way to get in touch with couple of the 'vert owners here with those engines to get an idea.

4 posts down at the moment you will see a thread about SR 'verts... Zadok and Tenkawa_Akito both have one. You could post there and ask about estimated 1/4 mile times.

Try to find my buddy Den240. I know he has a KA-T.

never drag raced my car. don't really intend to. but mid 13s isn't that far off and i'm only running 13psi on the stock T25
