How far does your moonroof open when you have it tilted? Mine doesn't seem to open very much compared to other car models. I was wondering how it compares to other Altima coupes. Clickable thumbs below.

There's about 1 inch from the peg to the end of track. View from the inside:

There's no opening at the front at all. In the back, I'd say that's only about 1-1.5 finger gap depending on how big your fingers are. View from the outside:

Edited to fix thumbs.

Same.

Was a negative when I was buying the car, but I loved the rest of it too much to let that stop me.

I also hate that it doen't retract all the way into the roof when you have it open.

Yea its the same. That was the one gripe I had when I first got this car was with the moonroof. I cant understand why they designed the moonroof to go into the roof when it opens and not up and over it. The opening is not even a foot long since it cant go in far.

I am sure some of you figured this out already, but a useful tip for when you are waxing is to open up the moon roof completely. Then the black insulation stuff surrounding the sunroof has no chance of becoming faded like what will happen when certain waxes are put on black trim.
