How far do i have to pull my parking break up?

Just wondering earlier, i thought i had it stuck and couldnt push it back down without excessive force. will 1-2" up be enough to keep it in park?

Depends on the severity of the hill. usually around 2" is good. If you ever think it's "stuck", pull up on the handle slightly before pushing in the button. It can help if you've pulled your brake tight.
